Today is a hard day. Life can be hard, and scary, and unsurprisingly tough in totally surprising ways. Sometimes I feel so lost, cannot find a reason for why, and so the in-between time is completely terrifying while I hypothesise reasons for that feeling.
These lists are one of the things that help center me. They're a reminder of the importance of continuing on when things get a bit tougher than I feel like I can handle at the time. Sometimes they're the best way to stop and reflect without taking a lot of time (that I absolutely really don't have). Sometimes they're both the beginning and end of a bad day. Sometimes just re-reading them is enough. Without question, I always feel grateful and restored after.
10 Things.
1, a blue sky after a week of grey clouds.
2, Moroccan mint green tea.
3, this new Lonely Planet book. I can't wait to read it. So incredible.
4, an ice-cream date and conversations about childhood.
5, a paper crane mobile.
6, the latest Frankie.
7, interpretive dance with colleagues in work aisles.
8, counting down to holiday plans.
9, meeting a black cat in the street, with glowing yellow eyes.
10, the music of Yann Tiersen*. Plus, Amelie. Always.
...
This final week of uni is so huge. Complaints are all relative, but sometimes it's
necessary to just let it out, then. continue.
*Post title from my "theme song". So perfect.

Gotta love interpretive dance! We have Karaoke Mondays at Boost which makes work so much more bearable :)
